Welcome to The Milestone Physio. These Terms of Service ("Terms") outline the rules and expectations for using our services, including our website, consultations, therapy sessions, and related offerings.

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Who We Are

The Milestone Physio is a mobile physiotherapy service based in Penrith, NSW. We provide tailored physiotherapy for children and young people in the comfort of their home, school, or community setting. We also offer services under the NDIS for eligible clients.

2. Eligibility

Our services are available to clients under the age of 25 and their families. You must be a parent, carer, or legal guardian to book a service on behalf of a child. NDIS participants with self-managed or plan-managed funding are also eligible. 

3. Bookings & Cancellations

• Appointments can be made by phone, email, or through our online contact form. When booking, we will confirm the location, time, and purpose of the session.

• At The Milestone Physio, our cancellation policy is compliant with the NDIS Short Notice Cancellation Policy and is outlined below:

  • Cancellation Policy: We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This ensures we can offer the time to another family in need.

• Cancellations made with 24–48 hours’ notice may be charged 100% of the session fee only, not including travel or preparation time.

• Same-day cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) or non-attendance will incur a full charge for:

  • Session fee

  • Travel and preparation time (if scheduled)

• • If the therapist cancels for any unforeseen reason, you will not be charged for the session.

4. Fees & Payment

• You will receive a service agreement or invoice outlining our fees as per NDIS requirements. Invoices are issued in line with the NDIS Price Guide and must be paid within the time frame specified on the invoice. Fees may include session time, travel (if applicable), report writing, and preparation, as outlined in the service agreement or schedule of supports.

• Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.

• We accept various forms of payment, including NDIS (self-managed or plan-managed), Pay ID or other agreed methods.

5. NDIS Participants

If you are accessing services through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), you are responsible for ensuring that you have sufficient funds and appropriate approval for services. 

6. Privacy & Confidentiality

Your privacy is important to us. All personal and health information is collected, stored, and used in accordance with Australian privacy laws (such as the Privacy Act 1998 and our [Privacy Policy]. 

We only share your information with other providers (e.g., GPs, support coordinators) with your consent or when required by law.

7. Duty of Care

All therapy is provided by qualified, registered and insured physiotherapists who operate within professional and ethical guidelines. We aim to deliver evidence-informed, safe, and developmentally appropriate care tailored to your child’s needs.

8. Website Use

By using our website (www.themilestonephysio.com.au), you agree not to:

• Reproduce or republish any content without permission.

• Use our content or brand for misleading or unauthorised purposes.

• Interfere with the website’s functionality or security.

9. Limitation of Liability

While we aim to provide high-quality services, The Milestone Physio is not liable for any indirect loss, damage, or injury that may occur as a result of using our services, except where required by law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website and are effective immediately unless stated otherwise. Continued use of our services implies your acceptance of any changes.
